The Essentials course will be held from January 22 to 26 in Boulder. This five-day introductory course offers an overview of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system of asana and pranayama practice as well as an introduction to Indian yoga philosophy. The course is appropriate for beginning students and more advanced students wishing to refine their understanding of the internal forms of the practice and the basics of yoga philosophy. For many, this course serves as a stepping-stone to acceptance into the monthlong intensive we offer every summer.
